Privacy policy

This policy explains what Restockify LLC (“Restockify”, “we”) collects when you use the Restockify website and apps, why, and what you can do about it. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you give them, your name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and basic profile from them. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and are never visible to us.
- What you track: the products and variants you add, the names you give them, and your filters (max price, sold by the retailer only, paused).
- Alert history: which restock alerts we sent you or held back, on which channel, and why.
- Devices for push notifications: if you turn notifications on, a push token for your device, its platform and name (for example “Pixel 9”), the app version, and when it last checked in.
- Your settings: whether push and email alerts are on.
- Technical logs: our servers log requests (such as the time, the address requested and errors) to keep the service running and secure. These logs are kept for 14 days.
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos or payment details, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To check stock and prices for what you track, and to alert you when something becomes buyable.
- To show your trackers, settings and alert history in the website and apps.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems, and answer you when you contact us.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run Restockify for us, each for that purpose alone:
- Clerk, for sign-in and accounts (and Google or Apple, if you sign in with them).
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our servers and database in the United States and sends our alert emails.
- Expo, together with Apple and Google's notification services, to deliver push notifications to your device.
To check stock we ask retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart about products. We don't send them anything about you. When you open a product from Restockify, you're on the retailer's site, and their privacy policy applies there.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete it right away (see below). Technical logs expire after 14 days.
Your choices and rights
- Turn push or email alerts on or off in Settings, and remove devices.
- Delete your account and its data at any time: see how to delete your account.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, by emailing support@restockify.com.
Cookies
The website uses cookies only to keep you signed in. We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Children
Restockify isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email.
